Students - graduates of Road Construction department in pregraduation practice in Japan

Three graduates of Road Construction department, Nina Bychinina, Irina Kolesnikova and Marina Prokopenko, have received a unique opportunity to have pregraduation practice. It lasted from the 3d March, till the 10th March 2012 on the basis of the Japanese factories producing rails for the Japanese railways, according to the arrangement of «RZhD» plc. with leading Japanese companies " Nippon Steel Corporation" and «Mitsui and Co., Ltd.», and also thanks to support of the university authorities headed by the rector, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences V.I. Kolesnikov. What is more, there were only six people from all Russia selected for the participation in the similar project. These were the students who have excellent progress, and are trained for a speciality «Construction of railways, track and track facilities».

The program included visiting of factories producing rails «Nippon Steel Corporation», rail-welded enterprises and factories of point switches, and also scientific research institutes of the Western Japanese railway, management on service of high-speed railway Shinkansen. Our graduates also managed to learn some facts about organisation of work and infrastructure of some railway stations of the Western Japanese railway.

Participation in the similar project of " RZhD" plc., certainly, is going to become a powerful impulse to professional perfection of participants of pregraduation practice, and the received experience and acquired knowledge will take a notable place in degree projects of graduates of Road Construction department.
