RSTU delegation negotiates in Germany and France
In the end of September the delegation of our university, which included the first pro-rector A.V. Chelokhyan, the pro-rector on investments and innovations I.V. Kolesnikov , the pro-rector on the international cooperation and educational work A.J. Goloborodko, made a business trip to Germany and France.
The delegation planned participation in the seminar «Experience of introduction of the modern technologies in the world educational space» in Germany (the organizer was the company «PHYWE», Göttingen), meetings and consultations about cooperation with experts of University of Göttingen, visiting a branch of Academy of Max Planck in Göttingen. According to the results of the meetings, the parties planned the ways of the further interaction on a wide range of directions of innovative development of vocational training.
The business trip in France provided visiting some establishments - partners of RSTU in Le Mans - a twin-city of Rostov-on-Don: the Center of a transfer of technologies, University of Le Mans, engineering research centre of the company «French railways» in Le Mans. Negotiations and the consultations with partners at University of Le Mans were very fruitful. They talked to vice-presidents of University Daniel Luzatti and Phillipe Daniel, the dean of the Department of the Exact Sciences, Bernard Castagnede and some other authorities. It allowed our delegation to describe in detail the mechanisms of interaction of both higher schools in the field of project realisation «Two diplomas». This academic year a number of candidates for a Master′s degree in RSTU will be trained simultaneously in Le Mans. Our delegation also discussed and co-ordinated a format of cooperation in the field of teachers′ and scientists′ exchange, expressed opinions on expansion of joint projects in the frame of cultural dialogue.
RSTU delegation had fruitful meetings with representatives of administration of Le Mans - the mayor, Jean-Claude Boulard, the assistant to the mayor, Chantal Laberge, the head of mission on development of twin-city cooperation, Jean-Paul Couasnon. As a result, in the summer of 2012 a number of RSTU students will receive grants for professional and linguistic training on the basis of establishments in the sphere of Le Mans transport and tourism. French schoolboys and students will arrive to RSTU, for participation in the project «Summer language school», where they will be studying Russian!
