Scientific conference in Portugal

Within the frame of 5th international scientific and practical conference «Science, Engineering Technology, and Higher Education», the group of RSTU staff has visited the Technical University of Lisbon and Engineering University of Coimbra, which is a part of Polytechnical University of Coimbra. The visit took place from April, 30, till May, 4, 2012.

During their visit to the Portuguese higher educational institutions, RSTU staff managed to meet innovative structure of foreign higher schools, and also have a training in the field of innovative management.

The stay program had also provided meetings of our colleagues with authorities of the Portuguese higher schools, staff of the international activity groups. Every group presented their educational institutions and exchange opinions on possibilities of development of scientific and educational cooperation, an exchange of teachers and students.

The result of visits to the Portuguese higher schools became signing of reports on cooperation intentions between RSTU, the Technical University of Lisbon and Engineering University of Coimbra in the field of realisation of joint educational, scientific and cultural projects. Particularly, the exchange of students and teachers is supposed to become one of cooperation directions.
